Features of the Radius Report by GeoSearch

  • The report is tailored specifically for each federal, state, tribal or local database resulting in a concise and highly accurate report with few blank data fields.
  • You may select from two report formats:
    • ASTM Radius Report – This report includes only the databases and search radii that are required to comply with the All Appropriate Inquiry rule (AAI) and ASTM Standard 1527-05 for Phase I Environmental Site Assessments.
    • ASTM Plus Radius Report – This report includes all AAI/ASTM required databases at or beyond the required search distance from the boundaries of the site and may also include additional databases, if available.
  • Concise, easy to read maps and report format.
  • A preliminary report is delivered by email within one hour allowing for a quick overview of area conditions prior to a site visit or for use in client consultations.
  • Detailed research and mapping is completed to insure few un-located sites remain in the final Radius Report.
  • The Radius Report is reviewed by database and mapping professionals at GeoSearch to verify and “fine-tune” the location of the database listings in relation to the site of interest.
  • Your site can be depicted as a point, an area (polygon) or a corridor with the database radii measured from the boundaries of the site.
  • Findings are plotted on 2 street-level radius maps and on an aerial photograph.
  • For ease of analysis, findings are reported starting with the noted properties that are nearest to your site.
  • Our Radius Report gives you additional value by providing you with a link to a digital aerial photograph with the database listings depicted by address and database type.

Custom Radius Reports are available for corridor and large area projects.

  • Database file integration with your GIS system is available.
  • For very large sites, supplemental maps can be enlarged for each section of the project.
  • You can also request a GeoPlus Package.

Use of regulatory database reports

Regulatory database reports provide information gathered from multiple government agencies that can help to identify a recognized environmental condition (REC), historical recognized environmental conditions (historical RECs) and other real or potential environmental issues at your site and at surrounding properties.  Information in a regulatory database report may include locations of identified or suspected contamination, compliance and violation concerns, permitted hazardous waste generators and emission sources, leaking tank sites, spills, landfills, potential sources of toxic vapors in the subsurface, and other characteristics that may be harmful to human health or the environment.
